Terms of Service: PoliceOne Academy Individual Subscription

Term

The initial term of this Agreement shall be for twelve (12) months (the “Initial Term”), selected by the Individual User, commencing on the date of this Agreement.

Renewal

At the expiration of the Initial Term, this Agreement will automatically renew for successive twelve (12) month periods (each a “Renewal Term” and collectively with the Initial Term the “Term”) based upon the initial selection made by the Individual User, unless the Individual User provides PoliceOne Academy with notice of its intent not to renew this Agreement or unsubscribes online prior to the expiration of the then current term.

Billing

A twelve (12) month subscription billing period begins at the effective starting date of service as stated above in this agreement. Provided credit card will be charged once per month with the amount depending on the contract option selected.

Contract Cancellation/Expiration

There is no cancellation during the Initial Term. Contract will be up for optional renewal at the end of the twelve (12) month agreement selected by the Individual User, at which point it is again a full twelve (12) month subscription with no cancellation.

Collections

Client agrees to pay for all costs of collection, including but not limited to, reasonable attorney fees and other fees made necessary by nonpayment. Publisher reserves the right to suspend all services until payment is received in full and may terminate this agreement at their discretion if Client fails to comply with the terms agreement. Accounts over 28 days past due shall be charged a twenty-five dollar ($25.00) late fee and one and one-half percent (1.5%) monthly service charge on the unpaid balance thereafter.

Individual Personnel Use Only

Passwords and videos can be used by the subscribed individual only without limitation during the term of the agreement. Sharing login access to the PoliceOne Academy or any downloaded or stored video content with other personnel/departments is expressly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in revocation of Academy access.

Limitation of Liability

The PoliceOne Academy and videos contained herein serve as examples of best practices and should not in any way replace, interfere, or override individual agency or company protocol, tactics or policies. PoliceOne Academy is provided on an “as is, as available” basis without warranty of any kind, expressed, implied or statutory, and any and all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement of third parties’ rights are specifically disclaimed. Although PoliceOne Academy/PoliceOne.com has made best efforts to provide accurate training information on the site, it makes no guarantee or warranty, express or implied, as to the reliability, accuracy, timeliness or completeness of that information and assumes no liability for errors or omissions therein.
